Perched on the edge of Speyside, Ardmore Distillery holds a unique place among Highland malts with its persistent use of peat. This "Ardmore 1998" is the product of 25 years in a hogshead, allowing the smoke and spirit to intertwine and mellow in elegant harmony.
On the nose, expect a subtle wisp of bonfire smoke, mingled with ripe stone fruit and honeyed cereal. The palate unfolds with silky layers of smoked orchard fruit, heather, and gentle oak spice. A refined Highland peater—nuanced, mature, and enduringly expressive.
