The nose opens with ripe melon, soft incense, and dried citrus peel. On the palate, layers of yellow fruit, roasted hazelnut, and vanilla unfold with a touch of sweet smoke. A well-textured dram, bottled at a robust 58.1%, it sings with a calm intensity and Japanese elegance.
